Leave your phone at home or hidden somewhere close by, convincing your partner that it is lost.
Get your partner in a location where they cannot easily get away from you. (A car works best)
Tell your partner you need to send an urgent text to someone. (parent, sibling, friend)
Make sure your partner does not have this person’s number saved in their phone, as they will then not be able to use the excuse that they can text the person for you
A partner with nothing to hide should have no problem letting you borrow their phone to send a quick text.
A cheating partner most likely has messages in their phone from other people they are seeing behind your back, therefore, they know you opening the messaging app to send a text will virtually guarantee the discovery of their infidelities.
Try this out. All you are doing is asking your partner to let you use their phone to send a text.
